Two days after the violent tractor rally in Delhi, Deep Sidhu threatened to reveal farmer leaders as they had been accusing the Punjabi actor-turned-activist mastermind of the Red Fort riots. In a video message, Sidhu mentioned, “If he would start exposing the farmers’ leaders, they will not be able to escape from Delhi.”
Attacking farmer leaders over allegations of his allegiance to BJP and RSS, Deep Sidhu mentioned, “You are calling me a man of BJP and RSS. Will any BJP and RSS man put the Nishan Sahib and Kisani flags on Red Fort? Will a Congress party member or someone who wants to contest elections will hoist these flags? Just think about it.”
Deep Sidhu is a Punjabi movie actor and a lawyer by career, he’s accused of inciting rioters at Red Fort. On January 26, he was seen with the flag among the many rioters and flashed the flag earlier than hoisting at Red Fort.
Sidhu was seen a number of instances on the Singhu border among the many farmers and now after the incident, the farmers’ organizations have been accusing him of inciting rioters.
Along with Sidhu, gangster-turned-social activist, Lakha Sidhana has additionally been named in an FIR filed by the Delhi Police in reference to Republic Day violence.
The case has been registered at Kotwali police station of North district underneath related sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, and different laws. Provisions of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act and the Arms Act have been added within the FIR.
