Parts of Delhi-NCR acquired gentle rain and powerful winds on Friday morning. This led to a fall within the mercury stage. Neighbouring Noida additionally acquired drizzle and powerful winds.
According to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) climate bulletin, gentle to average rain will lash remoted locations in Delhi-NCR and adjoining areas on Friday.
“The mercury is expected to settle around 35 degrees Celsius for the next three to four days,” the IMD had stated.
The IMD stated that two western disturbances will trigger thundery growth within the plains. While a contemporary jap disturbance was predicted to hit the hills and plains on Thursday, one other western disturbance could have some influence on Saturday. This will trigger hailstorm, thunderstorm and lightning.
Earlier on Thursday, Delhi recorded a most temperature of 35.2 levels Celsius, six notches above regular and the season’s highest. The minimal temperature was recorded at 17.2 levels Celsius, three notches above regular.
