Delhi has recorded imply most temperature of 27.9 levels Celsius in February, the second-highest recorded for the month within the final 120 years, the Indian Meteorological Department stated on Sunday. The highest imply most temperature recorded for February in Delhi was 29.7 levels Celsius in 2006, the IMD officers stated.
On Sunday, a minimal temperature of 15.6 levels Celsius, three notches above the season’s common, was recorded, whereas the utmost temperature was 32.3 levels Celsius, the Met Department stated.
The climate division has predicted clear sky for Monday with mist within the morning.
The most and minimal temperatures are anticipated to be round 31 and 13 levels Celsius respectively.
Delhi’s air high quality was within the poor class all through the day with the air high quality index (AQI) recorded at 211, the realtime information of the Central Pollution Control Board confirmed.
According to the Ministry of Earth Sciences’ System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), high-surface wind pace, greater temperature and better boundary layer heights have been influencing AQI positively.
“Hence, AQI is forecasted to be in moderate to poor category in the next two days,” it stated.
