Delhi’s minimal temperature dropped to six.8 levels Celsius on Friday because of chilly, dry winds blowing in from snow-laden western Himalayas, the India Meteorological Department stated. The metropolis had recorded 2.1 mm rainfall on Thursday below the affect of Western Disturbance which additionally led to widespread snowfall within the hilly area.
“Cold, dry winds from the mountains have started blowing towards the plains, resulting in a dip in the minimum temperature,” an IMD official stated. 
The Safdarjung Observatory, which offers consultant knowledge for the town, recorded a minimal of 6.8 levels Celsius, two notches beneath regular, on Friday as towards 12.4 levels Celsius on Thursday.

The most temperature on Thursday stood at 23.2 levels Celsius, regular for this time of the 12 months.
The minimal temperature had settled at 10.2 levels Celsius on Wednesday, 6.2 levels Celsius on Tuesday and 5.3 levels Celsius on Monday.
