This growth has opened up new avenues for self-employment and livelihood for residents. As part of the visit, the ‘One Tree for Mother’ campaign saw over a thousand trees planted. The project was supported by the Forest Department, local communities, and environmental groups. The Chief Minister highlighted the initiative as a tribute to motherhood and nature. He praised the Forest Department’s commitment to the protection of forests and wildlife, underscoring their importance in maintaining the state’s green cover and biodiversity.
