The new self-enumeration portal offers a safe, multilingual platform (16 languages) for pre-filling personal details. Registrants get a dedicated ID for enumerator cross-checks, blending convenience with verification rigor.
C-DAC’s contributions shone through four platforms: HLBC web app, HLO mobile tool, self-enumeration site, and monitoring portal. Together, they streamline everything from logistical planning to real-time data oversight, fostering accountability.
Crafted with warmth, mascots Pragati (female) and Vikas (male) promote unity in progress, aligning with Vision 2047 for a developed India. They’ll serve as engaging ambassadors, simplifying census messaging for all demographics.
Timeline-wise, house listing phase spans April-September 2026, followed by population enumeration in February 2027, recording intricate individual profiles. A workforce of nearly 30 lakh will deploy secure mobile tech for comprehensive coverage.
