‘Don’t need a statue in Rashtrapati Bhavan’: Tejashwi on not supporting Murmu

“Tejashwi Yadav has seen in his own family how an uneducated housewife was placed on the highest seat of power, ignoring many seasoned leaders in the party,” stated Jaiswal, referring to Rabri Devi’s sudden entry into politics within the late Nineties when she changed husband Lalu Prasad who needed to step down as chief minister after being charge-sheeted within the fodder rip-off.

Jaiswal stated Murmu was “a self-made woman” who rose from the ranks in politics and proved herself as a member of the Odisha meeting, which had as soon as conferred upon her the award for one of the best MLA.
