A police raid in Pune has disrupted a rave party, leading to the arrest of seven people, including Pranjal Khewalkar, the son-in-law of former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse. The court has granted police custody until July 29. Pranjal Khewalkar is married to Rohini Khadse, who leads the NCP women’s wing under Sharad Pawar. Khewalkar is a businessman, social worker, and doctor, according to his social media. He is also an entrepreneur and producer involved in music and other ventures, with business interests in sugar, energy, and event management. Police seized cocaine-like and marijuana-like substances, along with hookah equipment and alcohol. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said he will comment once he receives complete details about the case.
