A 22-year-old YouTuber, Sagar Kundu, is missing following an accident at Duduma waterfall in Odisha. The incident occurred on Saturday while he was live streaming. Kundu ventured into the middle of the stream to film, disregarding warnings about the rising water levels. His friends attempted to rescue him by throwing a rope, but their efforts were unsuccessful. A sudden release of water from the dam swept him away. Search and rescue operations are ongoing, involving police, fire services, and ODRAF personnel. A bag of equipment was recovered from the water. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the inherent risks associated with filming in potentially hazardous environments. Kundu had been at the waterfall with fellow YouTuber Abhijit Behera and friends, capturing videos before the tragic event unfolded.
