EAM Jaishankar holds ‘productive’ talks with Indonesian counterpart

NEW DELHI: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday held “productive” talks together with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi with a deal with bilateral cooperation in a number of key areas together with defence and safety, commerce and connectivity.
The talks have been held underneath the framework of the India-Indonesia Joint Commission.
Marsudi is on a go to to India primarily to attend a international ministerial assembly of New Delhi and ASEAN member states that came about on Thursday.
After the talks, Jaishankar mentioned the 2 sides reviewed the complete gamut of ties underneath the India-Indonesia complete strategic partnership. “Just concluded a productive 7th India-Indonesia Joint Commission Meeting with FM Retno Marsudi,” Jaishankar mentioned on Twitter.
“Reviewed entire gamut of our ties in our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with focus on political, defense & security, economic and trade, S&T and space, connectivity and p2p ties,” he mentioned.
