Election Verdict: India Rejects Anti-Sanatan Politics, Says BJP’s Jaiswal
1 min readFresh off landmark wins in multiple states, BJP’s Dilip Jaiswal from Bihar’s cabinet has interpreted the results as a public endorsement of Hindu-centric nationalism. His bold statements come amid heightened political rhetoric following polls in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry.
In detailed remarks, Jaiswal dissected the verdicts: ‘Opposition attempts to undermine Sanatan Dharma and Hindutva through appeasement backfired spectacularly. Not just governments fell – key figures like Mamata, Gogoi, and Stalin lost their own seats.’ This, he said, is the public’s firm stance against any assault on core Indian values and patriotism.
He reserved special ire for Rahul Gandhi. ‘His misguided approach is drawing repeated voter backlash. Congress faces an even steeper fall ahead.’
Dismissing Mamata Banerjee’s rigging claims as ‘groundless,’ Jaiswal questioned: ‘Was the Election Commission caught stuffing ballots for BJP? No – their impartiality ensured a fair fight, rewarding the lotus.’ Voters, he added, see through opposition drama.
On Tamil Nadu’s shift, Jaiswal linked it to Stalin’s inflammatory language. ‘Sanatan doesn’t endure such toxicity; we predicted this reckoning, and it arrived.’
The NDA’s euphoria is evident. Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary celebrated Bengal’s outcome: ‘An overwhelming mandate at every level. Bengal’s people demand development – as India’s power center, they aim to dominate economically.’
Jaiswal’s analysis paints a picture of an electorate prioritizing cultural pride and growth, potentially reshaping opposition strategies in upcoming elections.
