An encounter broke out between safety forces and militants in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, police mentioned.
Acting on particular inputs concerning the presence of militants within the Kakapora space of the south Kashmir district, safety forces launched a cordon-and-search operation there, a police official mentioned.
