After Rahul Gandhi’s accusations of vote tampering, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis responded with strong criticism. Gandhi had been focusing on the issue of vote theft and had indicated a major revelation, which he termed a ‘hydrogen bomb.’ At a press conference, Gandhi presented allegations of fraudulent vote deletions. Fadnavis accused Gandhi of spreading lies, particularly about his promised ‘hydrogen bomb.’ Fadnavis dismissed Gandhi’s claims as insignificant, calling the anticipated revelation a ‘dud.’ He accused Gandhi of being a serial liar, but acknowledged his skill in convincingly presenting falsehoods to the national media. Fadnavis insisted that Gandhi’s claims were entirely false. He claimed Gandhi, without providing evidence, speaks as if he possesses all the information, mirroring Joseph Goebbels’ propaganda techniques. Fadnavis also alleged that Gandhi’s lies were an insult to the constitution, the judiciary, and the Election Commission, asserting that such tactics would not work in India. He concluded that the people of Bihar would continue to support Prime Minister Modi.
