A woman in Gurugram, Yashmeet Kaur, has been arrested for the murder of her live-in partner, Harish. The motive was rooted in persistent arguments regarding Harish’s family. Harish, 42, and Kaur, 27, had been residing together in DLF Phase-3 for one year. The couple regularly clashed over Harish’s visits to his wife and children. On Saturday, the conflict escalated into a fatal stabbing, with Harish succumbing to his injuries at the hospital. In the hours preceding the event, Harish had acquired Rs 7 lakh from his nephew, Bharat, and left with Vijay. Later that evening, Harish asked Bharat to order and pay for a meal. The following day, Kaur informed Bharat of Harish’s death, revealing a stab wound. Kaur is in custody, and the murder weapon has been recovered. Police are investigating the financial transactions and Vijay’s role in the events.
