GUWAHATI: The flood state of affairs in Assam improved significantly on Friday with waters receding in most rivers whilst over 5 lakh folks continued to undergo within the deluge in ten districts of the state, an official bulletin stated.

Nagaon is the worst affected with over 3.11 lakh folks affected, adopted by Cachar with practically 1.47 lakh individuals and Morigaon with greater than 41,036 folks struggling.
More than 62,289 folks have taken shelter in 201 reduction camps, with the very best of 47,749 folks displaced in Cachar, the ASDMA stated.
An Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) visited the flood-affected areas of Cachar and Darrang districts through the day to evaluate the injury.
