Former Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist arrested by SIA in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda

JAMMU: A former Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist was arrested by the State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Tuesday for remaining in contact with Kashmir-based militants and finishing up many terror actions in Doda, officers stated.

“SIA team that was deputed to Doda arrested ex-HM terrorist Abdul Rashid code Arsalan from Tantna-Ghat area,” an SIA officer instructed PTI.

The former terrorist was concerned in a case of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in Jammu in 2010, he stated.

The SIA workforce was directed to determine the terrorist concerned within the FIR and after strenuous efforts, the workforce arrested him, the officers stated.

As the ex-terrorist was lively throughout 2009-2010 and was in fixed contact with Kashmir-based Hizbul terrorists and carried out many terrorist actions in Doda valley, which shall be additional unfolded throughout the investigation of the stated case, they stated.
