From Davanagere Labs to Dharmasthala: VP’s Packed South Tour

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan leaves New Delhi on Friday for a tightly scheduled three-day tour of Karnataka, Goa, and Kerala. The journey blends academic milestones, scientific exploration, and religious observance. In Bengaluru, he will join the Art of Living Foundation’s 45th anniversary celebrations. Hours later, he travels to Davanagere to mark 75 years of the BDT College of Engineering, highlighting the institution’s contribution to technical education. Goa’s Statehood Day on Saturday will see the Vice President in Panaji, followed by a visit to the CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography to review marine research projects. Sunday morning begins with darshan at Dharmasthala’s Manjunathaswamy Temple. The Vice President will then inaugurate the Siri Industrial Park in Belthangady before flying to Kottayam to launch Deepika’s 140th anniversary. The day closes with a private event in Kannur hosted by MP C. Sadanandan Master. The itinerary demonstrates the administration’s emphasis on regional connectivity, scientific advancement, and cultural harmony across the southern peninsula.
