Directed by Commissioner Laxmi Singh and monitored by Addl CP Dr. Rajeev Narayan Mishra, the sweep bagged 84 peddlers, 86 kg ganja, and 470 liters of spurious liquor.
Enforcing stringent NDPS and excise provisions, police executed widespread checkpoints and raids fueled by vigilant surveillance and actionable tips. The success highlights robust inter-zone coordination and proactive policing.
DCP Noida Yamuna Prasad’s squads frisked 5,338, filed 30 reports, jailed 32, seizing 56 kg ganja and 235.8L liquor. Central Noida DCP Shakti Mohan Awasthi probed 2,172, logged 18 cases with 18 arrests, netting 18 kg ganja and 97.2L booze.
In Greater Noida, DCP Saad Miya Khan’s units checked 2,773, initiated 33 FIRs, captured 34, and impounded 12 kg ganja plus 137L alcohol. District-wide: 10,283 screened, 81 cases, 84 in custody.
