The focus of ‘NAVYA’ is on equipping girls aged 16-18 with vocational skills, with a minimum educational qualification of Class 10. The training will emphasize non-traditional job roles. The program will be implemented in 27 districts across 19 states, including aspirational districts and those in the North-Eastern States, thereby reflecting the government’s dedication to inclusive development. The Ministries will formalize their collaboration to strengthen skill development efforts for adolescent girls. The launch will feature interactions with trainees and the distribution of PMKVY and PM Vishwakarma certificates, reinforcing the government’s dedication to empowering young women.
