Gujarat: Rahul to deal with rally in Dahod on Tuesday, Kejriwal in Rajkot on Wednesday

AHMEDABAD: Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party nationwide convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will go to Gujarat this week to deal with public rallies in Dahod and Rajkot respectively.

Polls are prone to be held in December within the state, which has been dominated by the BJP for the previous 27 years and the place the AAP is making a concerted effort to dislodge the Congress as the principle challenger.

Gandhi will handle ‘Adivasi Satyagrah Rally’ in tribal-dominated Dahod on Tuesday, whereas Kejriwal will handle a rally in Rajkot metropolis on Wednesday. Kejriwal had, on May 1, addressed a tribal rally collectively with Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) chief Chhotu Vasava in Bharuch district.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Dahod on April 20 and launched numerous tasks value Rs 22,000 crore for the tribal area.

As per a Congress assertion, Gandhi’s rally is organised in Dahod’s historic Navjivan Arts and Commerce College, and, after the occasion, he’s scheduled to fulfill get together MLAs in addition to work together with the leaders of tribal areas within the state.
