Following the firing at the residence of Elvish Yadav, a YouTuber from Haryana, the Bhau Gang has come forward to claim responsibility. The gang, with members Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritoliya, communicated their involvement via social media, explaining that their actions stemmed from Yadav’s promotion of betting applications. They contended that these apps have negatively impacted numerous families.
