Honour killing: Lady sarpanch kills daughter, driver over alleged love affair in Bihar

PATNA: In a suspected case of honour killing in Bihar, the our bodies of a pair have been discovered on a railway monitor three km east of Begusarai railway station. 

Police stated that the deceased has been recognized as Ramnunu Paswan (25), a local of Rajapur Dumri beneath Lakho police station limits and the sarpanch’s daughter Rupam Kumari, a local of Ayodhya Bari village.

The lady sufferer’s mom Anita Devi, who’s a sarpanch, claimed that the couple dedicated suicide. “We have nothing to do with the twin murder. Both my daughter and the man, who was our driver, were having a love affair for a long time. When we came to know about it, we sacked him from the job. Later, both of them entered into a suicide pact and killed themselves,” she stated. 

Police stated Ramnunu was working as a driver on the dwelling of the sarpanch for the final a number of years and he fell in love together with her (sarpanch’s) daughter and continued to satisfy her even after he was sacked from the job.

It is broadly believed that the sarpanch masterminded the homicide of her daughter as she allegedly referred to as the driving force on the pretext of offloading sand from a tractor trolley. When the driving force got here to her home, the sarpanch and her accomplices thrashed him to dying. 

While folks had been agitating over the dual murders, the mother and father of the lady surrendered at Lakho police station. Police are interrogating them to unravel the reality behind the dual murders.
