To strengthen strategic relations, India and the United States organized a 2+2 Intersectional Dialogue. The meeting saw the participation of senior officials from both countries, who agreed to enhance cooperation in defense, security, trade, and technology. The dialogue encompassed discussions on significant topics such as energy security, civil-nuclear collaboration, critical mineral exploration, and collaborative measures against terrorism and narcotics. Progress was marked towards the early endorsement of a new ten-year defense partnership framework, with both sides highlighting the significance of a robust defense industry, scientific and technological cooperation, operational coordination, and information sharing.
