India on monitor to fulfill Paris pact commitments: PM Modi at Kerry meet
India is on monitor to fulfill its local weather commitments underneath the Paris Agreement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi famous in a gathering with US Special Presidential Envoy John Kerry on Wednesday.
“Prime Minister noted that India is committed to meeting its nationally determined contributions under the Paris Agreement and that it was among the few countries on track to meet these commitments,” the Prime Minister’s Office mentioned in a press release.
Kerry’s four-day go to to India ends on Thursday. He has met a number of ministers and different civil society representatives in Delhi.
At the assembly, Kerry identified that the US would assist India’s local weather plans by facilitating inexpensive entry to inexperienced applied sciences and requisite finance, the assertion mentioned.
