Indian Army palms over apprehended PLA soldier to China

New Delhi: The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldier, who was apprehended on January 8, was handed again to China at Chushul-Moldo at 10.10 AM in the present day, the Indian Army stated.
Amid the continued border tensions, the Indian Army apprehended a Chinese soldier on the Indian aspect of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) close to the south financial institution of Pangong Tso in Ladakh on Friday. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldier had transgressed throughout the LAC and was taken into custody by Indian troops deployed on this space, the Indian Army stated.

Troops from either side are deployed alongside the LAC since friction erupted final 12 months on account of unprecedented mobilisation and ahead focus by Chinese troops.
