Delhi Police are conducting a thorough investigation following a death threat made against Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The Ghaziabad Police alerted the North West District Police late on Thursday night. An unknown individual called the Ghaziabad Police PCR to issue the threat, according to police sources. ACP Ritesh Tripathi of Ghaziabad confirmed that on the night of June 5, 2025, the Ghaziabad Commissionerate’s Kotwali police station received a call threatening the Delhi Chief Minister. The Delhi control room was informed immediately, and local police quickly responded to the situation. The authorities are working diligently to trace the call and have initiated surveillance efforts and deployed investigative teams. Once apprehended, the caller will face legal consequences. Both the Ghaziabad and Delhi Police are working together to find the person responsible. Further developments will be announced as the probe progresses.
