Jammu and Kashmir LG meets households of TV artiste, cop killed by militants

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday met the relations of TV artiste Amreen Bhat and police Constable Saifullah Qadri, each of whom had been killed by militants final week, and guaranteed them of all doable assist.

Two of the militants behind Bhat’s killing had been gunned down in an encounter with safety forces that broke out within the Aganhanzipora locality in Pulwama district’s Awantipora space on May 26.
