At least six individuals had been buried alive in Jharkhand’s Koderma district when the roof of a mica mine caved in, a senior police officer mentioned on Friday.
Two our bodies have been retrieved to date and efforts are underway to hint the others, Koderma Superintendent of Police (SP) Ehtesham Waquarib mentioned.
According to the SP, round eight individuals had been gathering mica scraps in Phulwariya space of Koderma on Thursday night, when the roof of the mine collapsed.
Two of them had been rescued by locals who gathered on the web site of the incident listening to their cries, whereas the whereabouts of the opposite six couldn’t be ascertained.
The two, who’ve been rescued, are present process remedy at a neighborhood hospital, Waquarib mentioned.
