Jharkhand industrial taxes assortment at document Rs 19,750 crore in FY 22

RANCHI: The Jharkhand industrial taxes division has achieved a document income at Rs 19,794 crore within the just-concluded fiscal, a high official stated on Wednesday.

The industrial tax assortment was Rs 16,147 crore within the monetary yr 2020-2021.

“The commercial taxes department has generated an all-time high revenue to the tune of Rs 19,750 crore,” Secretary, Commercial Taxes, Aradhana Patnaik stated.

The division had set a goal of Rs 18,422 crore assortment for the final fiscal, she stated, including that the gathering was up 107 per cent of the goal and elevated 25 per cent compared to the earlier fiscal.

The secretary, briefing the media right here stated that the division felicitated 17 officers for good efficiency.

“It is for the first time in the state, that the Intelligence and Revenue Analysis Wing has been constituted and sector-wise analysis was done. This has yielded positive results. It is expected that in the current financial year too, the department will be able to collect commercial tax as per the target,” Patnaik stated.

The division has ensured common interplay with the taxpayers in order that their issues might be solved, she stated.
