Jagat Prakash Nadda, the National President of the BJP, has appointed Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu as the Executive President of the Jharkhand Pradesh BJP. This appointment replaces Ravindra Kumar Rai. The BJP has initiated a significant organizational restructuring in Jharkhand by appointing Aditya Sahu, a Rajya Sabha MP, as the Executive President of the state BJP. His appointment takes effect immediately, replacing Ravindra Rai, who was appointed Executive President during the assembly elections. A formal letter regarding this appointment was released by National Secretary Arun Singh on Friday.
Aditya Sahu was previously the in-charge of the Kolhan division during the Jharkhand assembly elections. In 2022, he was nominated to the Rajya Sabha from Jharkhand by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh and was subsequently elected unopposed. Before his new role, he worked as the General Secretary of the Jharkhand Pradesh BJP. Previously, Dr. Ravindra Kumar Roy, the former MP from Koderma, was the Jharkhand BJP’s Executive President, a position he held until the 2024 assembly elections.
