Babulal Marandi, the Jharkhand BJP President, discussed the legacy of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at a function held in Dhanbad to mark his 125th birth anniversary. Marandi stated that Dr. Mukherjee opposed the Congress’s appeasement policies. He described Dr. Mukherjee as a nationalist thinker, visionary, and leader who sacrificed his life for the nation’s integrity. Marandi also highlighted Dr. Mukherjee’s contribution to nation-building. The establishment of the Sindri fertilizer factory was also attributed to Dr. Mukherjee. Marandi criticized Pandit Nehru’s decision to implement Article 370. In Ranchi, the State Organization General Secretary paid homage to Dr. Mukherjee.
