In a strong condemnation, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu has slammed Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s recent disparaging remark labeling a public figure as an “ox.” Sahu declared that this “ox” is, in fact, a public representative elected by the will of millions and a significant leader from the tribal community. He eloquently articulated the ox’s profound significance to villages, the impoverished, and the agricultural sector, which forms the bedrock of the economy. Sahu decried the arrogance of those who, after benefiting from the ox’s strength, resort to humiliating it. He asserted that the collective might of the village, the poor, and the farmer now stands behind this “ox,” driven by indignation and unity. The person targeted by the CM, Sahu noted, is a former Chief Minister with enduring popular appeal. Issuing a serious caution, Sahu predicted public retribution for this insult, warning the Hemant administration to prepare for severe consequences. He also detailed the pressing issues plaguing the state, including pervasive corruption, critical deficiencies in healthcare and education, rampant illegal extraction of natural resources, and a distressing decline in the safety and security of women and children, even in schools.
