Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren held a high-level review meeting with Baba Baidyanath Dham-Basukinath Tirtha Kshetra Vikas Pradhikaran and senior officials today regarding the preparations for the world famous State Shravani Mela-2025 starting from July 11. In this meeting held at Shri Lok Krishna Lok Prashasan Sansthan, Ranchi, the Chief Minister directed the officials to complete all the preparations related to the State Shravani Mela on time. He said that devotees from all over the country and abroad come to Shravani Mela. In such a situation, their safety and facilities should be taken care of. In the meeting, the officials apprised the Chief Minister of the updated status of the ongoing preparations for the Shravani Mela.
Give more grandeur to Shravani Mela
The Chief Minister said that Shravani Mela is a major center of our faith. Shravani Mela has given Jharkhand a unique identity in the country and the world. Every year lakhs of devotees visit Baba Nagari. Every year this world famous Shravani Mela is being organized in a very good manner. This year also around 50 lakh devotees are expected to come. In such a situation, they should take a better experience from here, for this, move forward in the direction of adding new links to Shravani Mela and giving it an even more grand look. Whatever is needed for this, it will be made available.
All departments should coordinate and finalize the preparations
The Chief Minister said that all the arrangements related to security, cleanliness, rest, drinking water, electricity, water, toilets, bathrooms, traffic and health should be strong in Shravani Mela. For this, all the departments should coordinate and finalize the preparations. The Chief Minister asked the Chief Secretary to monitor the arrangements being made by the departments regarding the preparations of Shravani Mela.
The vacant land in the fair route should be used.
The Chief Minister told the officials to talk to the farmers to take the vacant land in the fair route till the end of Shravani Mela. If they agree to this, then make arrangements for rest house, toilet and bathroom on that land, so that the devotees can get good facilities. He also said that after the end of the fair, the said land should be completely cleaned and returned to its farmers. The Chief Minister also instructed the officials to make separate arrangements for living and food for women and children.
Special emphasis on crowd control and traffic management system
The Chief Minister said that during the State Shravani Mela, lakhs of devotees reach Baba Baidyanath Dham and Basukinath Dham. In such a situation, it is very important to keep the traffic management system strong along with crowd control. He told the officials that adequate security forces should be deployed to control the crowd in the fair route. The speed limit of vehicles should be determined and strictly followed. Adequate number of vehicle plate number reading high definition cameras should be installed, so that it is easy to identify those violating the traffic system.
Take immediate action on complaints of devotees
The Chief Minister directed the officials to start QR Based Complain System, so that if any devotee is facing any problem or issue, he can immediately register his complaint. He said that there should be a system for quick disposal of complaints. The Chief Minister also gave many other important instructions to the officials regarding fair management.
