After the completion of the 13th counting round, JMM candidate Somesh Chandra Soren holds a commanding lead of 27,977 votes against his BJP counterpart, Babulal Soren. The current vote count shows Somesh Chandra Soren with 71,343 votes, while Babulal Soren has secured 43,366 votes. This substantial advantage has sparked widespread enthusiasm among JMM supporters and brought disappointment to the BJP camp. Other candidates, including Ramdas Marandi of the JLKM with 9,472 votes, and various independent candidates, are lagging considerably. The NOTA option has received 1,938 votes. The strong performance of the JMM through the 13 rounds points towards a decisive victory, filling the party’s workers with palpable excitement and anticipation.
