Giridih’s district administration took a significant step towards citizen welfare with a public grievance redressal session held on Friday, initiated by Deputy Commissioner Ram Niwas Yadav. Ashutosh Thakur, the Deputy Collector of Nazarat, chaired the meeting, where numerous residents presented a spectrum of their personal and social problems. Key issues raised included land disputes, eligibility for schemes like Maiya Samman Yojana, access to tricycles for differently-abled individuals, land mutation requests, and concerns surrounding public health, pensions, ration access, land acquisition, clean drinking water, the Abua Housing Scheme, and school operations. Thakur emphasized swift departmental action after carefully listening to each case, highlighting the successful on-the-spot resolution of several matters.
