Dhanbad is reeling from a major accident that resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including two children. The tragic event unfolded in the Lodna OP area, at the No. 4 Bye Quarter. The structure involved was an old, abandoned and dilapidated housing unit of BCCL (Khilan Dhaura). Several people, including children, were inside the building seeking shelter from the rain when the roof unexpectedly collapsed. The collapse led to the deaths of two children and one other person. Three individuals were also injured in the incident.
