Following a domestic quarrel, Rajendra Pandit murdered his wife, Lalita Devi, by slitting her throat, and attacked his in-laws. The incident occurred in the Podaiyahat police station area of Godda district. The in-laws attempted to stop the attack but were injured. Rajendra Pandit later took his own life by hanging himself. The couple had been married for about six years and had two children. The police have taken the bodies of the deceased and are investigating the incident. The father-in-law stated that his son-in-law was intoxicated at the time of the incident and tried to stop him.
