Inspector Meera Singh, often involved in controversies, is now facing heightened legal difficulties. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a Prosecution Complaint (PC) against Meera Singh, who formerly held the position of in-charge at Tupuudana OP, in connection with case number ECIR 8/2025. The court has not yet reviewed the ED’s PC. The ED had previously conducted a search of Inspector Meera Singh’s residence in March of last year. During this search, ₹12.50 lakh in cash was discovered at the accused’s locations. The ED has taken over the case that was originally filed by the ACB. This is the first instance where the ED has accused a police officer in a case, making Meera Singh the first. She is presently out on bail related to a case handled by the ACB.
