Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, witnessed a major fire incident at an Amul plant, resulting in substantial destruction and financial losses. The fire broke out in the warehouse of the plant located in Simuldanga village on the National Highway. The flames rapidly engulfed the entire warehouse, consuming all stored goods, including dairy products like milk, yogurt, and butter. Firefighters battled the blaze and eventually extinguished it. The incident has caused significant financial losses for the factory owner, estimated in the crores of rupees. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been initiated.
