A wild deer, straying from its forest home, was the subject of a successful rescue by the forest department on Sunday after it entered the Kodarma Inn Family Restaurant. The deer’s unusual appearance in the hotel premises caused a stir among guests, who assisted in its care before forest officials arrived. The animal had reportedly entered the hotel to escape a dog. Hotel staff acted responsibly, managing to deter the dog and secure the frightened deer. Upon assessment of its injuries, the forest department was alerted. A dedicated team responded rapidly, ensuring the deer’s safe retrieval. After receiving initial treatment from the forest department, the deer was released back into the safety of the jungle.
