Pushpa Minj, a para-athlete from Ranchi, Jharkhand, who has won gold medals for India in international para throwball competitions, is now selling vegetables on the streets to support herself. Despite her athletic accomplishments in Thailand, Cambodia, and Nepal, she is struggling financially and receives no assistance from the government. She is an orphan and has a physical disability. She has won numerous medals and is a postgraduate in geography. She currently earns a meager income selling vegetables, which is insufficient to cover her living expenses and training costs. She appeals for financial assistance and a job to pursue her athletic career.
