What began as a festive outing ended in unimaginable horror. En route home, near an isolated mango garden, the pair was intercepted by the gang. The friend was beaten and driven off, leaving the girl at the mercy of her attackers, who subjected her to a nightmarish collective rape.
Displaying remarkable courage, the minor made it back to her family and recounted the assault. An FIR was promptly registered at Raidiha thana, galvanizing police into a full-scale manhunt. Gumla authorities assure the public that arrests are forthcoming.
This follows a parallel incident in Kamdara two days ago, where four men abducted and assaulted two minors from a car. The suspects—Anmol Dungdung, Surendra Sahu, Dharmjeet Badaik, and Sonu—were nabbed quickly, highlighting contrasting paces of justice.
