Holistic Education Stressed at Ranchi Acharya Training Event

The training camp for New and Permanent Acharyas, as well as office workers, concluded with a significant ceremony in Kudlum, Ranchi. Organized by Vidya Bharati Jharkhand, the workshop saw nearly 500 participants engaging in sessions designed to enhance their educational and leadership capabilities. The gathering served as a reminder of the pivotal role teachers play in the spiritual and cultural preservation of the country. Addressing the participants, Gopal Sharma emphasized that the true essence of an Acharya lies in their ability to lead society through moral authority. He spoke about the challenges facing the Indian family system and the importance of instilling traditional values in students to counter these trends. He reminded the teachers that Indian tradition reveres nature, rivers, and trees, and these environmental ethics must be passed on to the next generation. Secretary Nakul Kumar Sharma introduced the various training modules and appreciated the hard work of the participants. He stressed that the knowledge gained during the camp should be translated into a better classroom experience for students, focusing on their overall growth rather than just literacy. The release of magazines by the PRT, TGT, and PGT groups showcased the creative outputs of the intensive training period. Presiding over the function, Ramavtar Narsaria noted that Vidya Bharati has been a pioneer in the field of holistic education for 75 years. He highlighted the need for teachers to remain dedicated to the goal of creating a developed and culturally strong India. The program ended on a patriotic note with the singing of Vande Mataram, symbolizing the teachers' renewed commitment to their mission.
