Chief Minister Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren participated in the Karam Puja Mahotsav-2025 held at the tribal hostel in Ranchi Women’s College. The Chief Minister performed prayers at the Karam Dali, seeking blessings for the people of Jharkhand. He highlighted the importance of traditions and culture in the community, noting that various groups progress while adhering to their unique customs. He praised the tribal community for celebrating the Karam festival with great enthusiasm. Soren highlighted the women’s commitment to the tradition, observing their unwavering dedication regardless of the weather. He emphasized that the Karam festival signifies the rich culture, civilization, and lifestyle, representing the bond between siblings, social harmony, and reverence for nature. He expressed the hope that future generations would continue to promote this rich tradition with respect and goodwill. The event was attended by Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, Jharkhand Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey, and MLA Kalpana Soren, among others.
