Authorities in Dumka, Jharkhand, have arrested three individuals for the gang-rape of a young woman. The victim, a stage performer, was lured on the pretext of a performance at a ‘Dandiya Night.’ The perpetrators threatened her life if she disclosed the attack. Police have taken the three suspects into custody and are actively investigating. The victim, who works in stage shows, lives in a rented apartment in Deoghar. On September 28th, she received a call, inviting her to perform at a Dandiya Night event. Three men picked her up in a white car, taking her to Handi Hasdiha. She was told that more girls would be collected. The men brought her to a house where the event was not held. Upon her attempt to leave, they locked her in a room and gang-raped her, making an obscene video of the incident. The accused are identified as Saurabh Kumar, Rajan Raj, and Paras Raj Yadav. The police have registered a complaint and are questioning the suspects. The victim is undergoing a medical examination and will record her statement in court on Saturday. The investigation is underway.
