Following a ruling by the Jharkhand High Court, the state government has modified the Jharkhand Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education regulations. The update makes it mandatory for all schools to acquire recognition. The Education Department is actively preparing for this change. The department anticipates completing the necessary technical updates to the online portal by September, enabling schools to submit their applications online from October onward.
