A significant rebranding effort has seen Jharkhand’s Raj Bhavan officially change its name to ‘Lok Bhavan’. The formal order was issued by Nitin Madan Kulkarni, Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor, on Wednesday. This new appellation, ‘Lok Bhavan’, will now represent both the Ranchi and Dumka Raj Bhavans. The move, backed by approvals from the Union Home Ministry and the state Governor, is geared towards projecting a more democratic and accessible image for the Governor’s administrative seat. Preparations are underway to update all official documents, correspondence, and public signage to reflect this new identity.
