The incident involved the collapse of a mine and subsequent accusations of improper actions by the JLKM leaders, specifically related to the handling of bodies and inciting protests. These actions resulted in a financial loss of one crore rupees for CCL. The security in-charge filed the FIR at Kuju OP, naming Bihari Mahto and Paneshwar Mahto among the accused.
