A resident of Koderma, Saddam Ansari, 30, died after being attacked by an elephant in Markachcho. The incident occurred while he was attempting to capture photos and videos of the animal along with two friends. The elephant charged at the group, and in the ensuing chaos, Saddam fell. The elephant then attacked him, leading to severe injuries. Despite efforts to save him, he died en route to Ranchi. The elephant had previously been seen damaging property in the area. Saddam was the sole provider for his family, leaving behind two young children. The local community is in a state of shock and fear following the tragic event.
