The Jharkhand cabinet, under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, approved 66 proposals in a recent meeting. The Jharkhand State Road Safety Rules-2025 was sanctioned. The proposal to establish music, drama, literature, and fine arts academies in Jharkhand was approved. The Jharkhand Child Education Rights Amendment was also given the green light. The cabinet also approved an ex-post facto withdrawal of 20 crore from the Jharkhand Contingency Fund. The formation of the Jharkhand State Displacement and Rehabilitation Commission-2025 was approved to manage displacement and resettlement effectively.
